Once
an order is placed
Documents
and other submitted material are placed in the
appropriate queue as soon
as we receive an official
order, i.e., a written
acceptance of our quotation and the related terms and
conditions. Clients may notify us of their acceptance by e-mail,
fax or post. Telephone confirmations may be accepted
from regular clients in urgent situations, but such
orders must still be submitted in writing before the
work is completed.
A
written confirmation of the order will then be issued.
This will include the estimated date of delivery and
clients number.
Queries
We
do not usually contact clients during
the working process unless there is something which
requires urgent clarification. Minor queries (if any)
are noted and saved until the bulk of the work is
completed in order to reduce the number of queries sent
to a client. These queries are sometimes included in a
list of comments and sent to the client together with
the finished material. Clients may help us to expedite
the processing of their documents and other material by
providing us with draft documents or lists of unique
expressions which they have previously used or would
like us to use when they submit their orders.
Comments
and editing marks
We
often prepare comments on the material which we return
to our clients. These are primarily intended to
provide details of any significant changes which may
have been made. If there are highlighted sections in a
document then a clear, colour-coded legend is included
to assist our clients in interpreting our markings.
